May I please take this chance through our forum for a public
service to our brothers & sisters who could share their blessings through
financial/medical or in any way could help Mr. Matso Contic Quinio, 28 yrs.
old, a co-employee & a teacher of Baguio City National High School, whose BOTH
kidneys are found damaged (sorry I can’t remember the medical term) and needed
a kidney transplant. His family (he is already orphaned by both parents so his
siblings & his wife who is 5months pregnant to their 1st child are the ones
taking good care of him right now) is looking into the possibility of a family
member who could donate a kidney for him but this needs a couple of tests of
the donor. His attending physician honestly told him that he will be needing
500,00.00+- for the kidney transplant alone and 250,000 for the kidney (if no
successful donor). At this time, Mr. Quinio is going through the initial
dialysis At SLU hospital under the care of Dr. Luspian. Every dialysis costs
5,000 and he is to undergo series of dialysis until become stable or until
kidney donor is already available. The patient is now confined at SLU & later
will be transferred to Baguio General Hospital for charity services due to
incapacity to support his medical needs and other related medical procedures
needed. Mr. Quinio is now on sick leave without pay from the service and in
this situation, he really needs financial/medical help.
Guys, I know that you might not know him personally but he is taking part in
molding our students and in this situation where he is still in the state of
shock, we could share a little of what we have and what we know (financially,
morally, spiritually) to add up in prolonging the life of this person and that
he will be back in the service to continue his calling in teaching profession.
Any help/donation in any way, you can directly visit the patient at SLU
Hospital Annex (Room 317) or you can contact him at Mobile No. 09085335398 or
you can course through me or the Faculty President Mr. Donald Malipe at the
admin office of BCNHS, Gov. Pack Road, Baguio City. Tel no. 442-3235; 442-4882.
We can be a blessing to others by simply sharing the least, the rest or the
most of what we have and most of all, prayers too...Thank you so much!
Thank you BAC admin.
